Jordan Ann Collier, 18, of New Market, passed away Tuesday. Jordan was a senior at Buckhorn High School, where she was a basketball cheerleader. She was in ROTC, had joined the US Army Reserve, and was a volunteer firefighter with the New Market Fire Department.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Cliff Collier and Vernon Herron. Survivors include her mother, December May (Michael); father, Denis Collier; fiancée, Haylen Damron; brothers, Alex Smith (Drew), Cole Collier, and Carter May; grandparents, Susan Herron, John and Kathy Wiggins, Sam and Rita Skemp, and Billy Rex and Linda Smith; uncles, Teague Smith (Becca), and J.R. Herron (Ashley), Kevin Bishop, Sammy Skemp and Jon Skemp; aunts, Rachael Smith and Melanie Wiggins; and numerous cousins, great-uncles, and great aunts.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, December 21 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 6 p.m.
