WEST LIBERTY — George Jeff Adams, 82, of Cannel City, died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at his home after a long illness. He was a retired farmer, a native of Morgan County and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rissie Adams; four daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Ruts, Jeffersonville and Mrs, Ina Spencer, Mrs, Esther Frisby and Mrs. Zelda Dalton, Cincinnati and four sons, Chame Adams, Malone, Hargis Adams, Trenton, Ohio and Hager and Emil Adams, Cannel City.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday at the United Baptist Church Caney by the Rev. B. T. Morris and the Rev. Roy Benton. Burial will be in the Lykin Cemetery at Brushy Fork. The body is at the Potter Funeral Home.
