WHITWELL -Larry "Pete" Ables, 58, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Erlanger hospital.
He was preceded in death by father, James H. Ables; brother, James A. "Jim" Ables; and niece, Terri Ables.
Survivors include mother, Dorothy Ables; wife, Linda Billingsley Ables; daughters, Frances (Robbie) Holtcamp, Stacie (Cory) Pickett and Miranda (Charlie) Durrow; brothers, Johnny (Carolyn) Ables, Wayland (Reba) Ables and Darrell Ables; sister, Susie Masters; two wonderful grandchildren, Mackenzie and Aaron Holtcamp who were the light of his life; stepgrandchildren, Jessica and Dustin Holtcamp; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Charlie and Kyle Hood.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. CDT today, May 4, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating.
Interment will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CDT today.
