The journey here ended for a great dad, son, brother, and friend, JASON STEPHEN GRIMMETT, 34, of Ft. Gay, W.Va., on Friday, December 6, 2018 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Born October 10, 1984 at Dayton, Ohio, Jason worked as a Foreman with Townsend’s Tree Service. Jason was preceded in death by his father Terry Grimmett, along with his biological mother, Joanna K. Mosley; two brothers, Terry Lee Mosley and James Hank Mosley; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
He leaves behind his mother, Linda Grimmett of Ft. Gay; his fiancé Erica Ransbottom; and two precious daughters, Kaylin Elaine Grimmett and Aubrey K. Ransbottom.
Also surviving are three brothers, Josh Mosley of Greenville, S.C., Melvin (Vickie) Mosley of West Logan, W.Va., and Sammy (Erica) Mosley of Ft. Gay; four sisters, Cindy (Owen) Bailey of Pecks Mill, W.Va., Crystal (John Boy) Grimmett of Ft. Gay, LaTira (Larry) Simpkins of Accoville, W.Va., and Lisa (Lonnie) Maynard of Davin, W.Va.; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Oak Grove Church, Paddle Creek with Brother Jason Meddings officiating. Burial will follow in the Terry Lee Mosley Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Sunday at the church. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Grimmett family.
