Titusville - Billy L. Sanders passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007.

Sons, Larry (Beth), Scott (JoAnn), Jeff (Sheila)

Billy was born May 6, 1928 to Wilson and Jean Sanders in Titusville, FL. He attended Titusville schools through the 11th grade and his Senior year was spent at Gordon Military in Barnesville, GA. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Management in 1956.

He joined the Marine Corp before he turned 18 and had two years of service.

On October 1, 1950 he married Jean Elizabeth Carpenter.

Billy loved his family and was actively involved with his sons in sports, Boy Scouts, church and Sunday school.

He was a deacon at Cutler Ridge Presbyterian and an elder at St. Lukes Presby terian.

Billy was previously a member of the Cutler Ridge Jaycees, Titusville Elks 2113, the Gateway Masonic Lodge and Rotary Club.

He retired from Florida Power and Light in 1989. He and Jean spent the next 15 years traveling around the country in their R.V. visiting family and friends. He was loved by all and will be truly missed.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at North Brevard Funeral Home. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Lukes Presbyterian Church, with burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
