Louanne Madonne Eng, 85, of Blue River, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Schmitt Woodland Hills. She was born on May 3, 1935 the daughter of Bernard and Carol Huffman. She lived in Port Andrews and graduated from Blue River High School in 1953. Madonne married Kenneth 'Kenny' Eng on February 12, 1955 at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. The couple lived their entire married life of 53 years in Blue River, until Kenny's death in 2008. Madonne moved to Schmitt Woodland Hills in Richland Center and lived there for several years up to her passing. She worked at the Post Office in Blue River for many years and worked her way up to Postmaster which she enjoyed and was a very dedicated employee to all. After retiring from the Post Office she worked at John's IGA in Boscobel and then Pierce's Grocery Store in Muscoda where she met many people daily and enjoyed seeing and talking to them and had very fond memories of her time there.
Madonne is survived by
Two children: Kevin Eng of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii,
Heidi (Perry) Wilkinson of Muscoda;
Four grandchildren: Amanda Eng of Reedsburg,
Amber Eng of Richland Center,
Tyler (Jackie) Wilkinson of Spring Green,
Shane (Cheri) Wilkinson of Muscoda;
Six great-grandchildren: Kacylah and Kensley of Richland Center, Olivia and John Perry Wilkinson of Spring Green, Miles and Lucy Wilkinson of Muscoda;
Special friend: Becky Varney of Blue River;
many other relatives and friends.
Madonne was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Carol and husband Kenny.
A small private ceremony will be held in the Blue River Cemetery at a later date. No gifts or flowers please. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
