THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR VISITING OUR BEAUTIFUL LITTLE PURRBIE DOLL
In June of 2007 exactly two weeks after Mother passed away this beautiful little gray kitten starving to death came out from underneath the feed bunk on the south side of the barn just meowing his precious little head off and we wondered where in the world did he come from, he was about the cutest thing we had ever saw! He ran for the back porch and hid up underneath the grill cover, he had found a home and he wasn't leaving. I made a fast trip to town for kitten food, didn't take him long to realize he had found his parents for the rest of his life and never had to experience hunger again.

Cocamo Joe was now our baby, he pretty much controlled everything in our lives it seemed and was the perfect little ranch fur baby! He was an outside/inside kitten (had the best of both worlds) his days were spent mostly outside but our office in the barn was his place to stay safe, warm and cool! Winter nights he stayed in the office where it was warm and love sleeping in his soft bed or Doug's office chair. Summer nights it was the big Morton barn sleeping in a babies antique bathtub we had bought just for him.

Cocamo and Doug were buddies! Cocamo love Doug so much and would always know where Doug was on the ranch. They took walks every evening in the summer and winter. When it was 100 degrees or when the north wind blew and it was really cold!

Cocamo didn't care about getting on my lap for back and neck rubs but in the winter he was on Doug's lap every morning after we got the cattle fed. I think it was because I would pick him up every chance I got and love on him, Doug didn't do that. Cocamo love mom but dad was the light of his life!

We loved and cared for Cocamo the very best we knew how for 11 years and four months! On October the 18th after several Vet visits trying to find out why Cocamo was not eating and acting quite like he normally did the Vet diagnosed him with having tongue cancer and the cancer was at the very back of his little tongue so nothing could be done except putting him on an antibiotic and steroid.

Life on our cattle ranch will never be the same without our precious and beautiful fur baby! He was so loved and he is so missed every minute of the day! We are just absolutely lost and heartbroken without our little Cocamo Joe! His absence is absolutely horrible, we didn't know it was possible to love a kitten so much but we quickly realized it is very easy!

I always felt like Mother had a part in sending this sweet kitten for us to love and help with the grief of losing her. There will never be another Cocamo Joe and there will never be another kitten for us as he is our one and only always and forever!

Truly rips the heart in two losing a family member, little Cocamo was the only baby we will ever have! When he passed away he took our hearts with him!

WE LOVED YOU YOUR WHOLE LIFE! WE'LL MISS YOU FOR THE REST OF OURS!

LOVE LOOKS NOT WITH THE EYES BUT WITH THE HEART!
