David Brent French was born on August 20, 1968 in Baton Rouge, La to Cliff and Elaine French. Brent is preceded in death by his father, Cliff French, his father was a pastor. He is survived by his wife Julie, married May 1989, they met at Trinity Baptist college in Jacksonville,FL. They toured together with a College Muscic team. He was a father to three children, Moly, Taylor, and Jonathan, all three were chosen thru adoption from China. Brent was on staff for 19 years as Worship Pastor at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. He is also survived by his brother Dwayne, his sister Kim Jones (Darren), numerous nieces and nephews. Brent thru his battle with Cancer spoke words of hope and Christ to all he might, his smile was contagious. Before he got sick he was always reaching out to the Church body if they had a need, he met it, was truly a great man of God and loved by all that met him.
His celebration of life memorial service was at his home Church, Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. He had a huge footprint on this world that even the greatest tide couldn’t wash it away.
