Bloomingdale- Mr. Robert "Bobby" E. Tuten, 71, died Monday, May 21, 2007, at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 3, 1935 in Savannah, Georgia but lived most of his life in Pooler and Bloomingdale. He owned and operated Tuten Plumbing Co. for more than 50 years. He enjoyed farming and raising cattle. He could always find the humorous side of things. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Azaleen Tuten. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mrs. Elaine Bodiford Tuten; daughter, Debbie Williamson and her husband Mark; granddaughter, Kandi; grandson, Ryan of Pooler; son, Chris Tuten of Pooler; daughter, Delia Diekemper and her husband David; grandsons, Robert , Joseph and Justin of Bloomingdale; daughter, Julie Dugger and her husband Brian; granddaughter, Emily of Atlanta; stepson, Daniel Garrett and his wife Rose; grandson, Casey; stepdaughter, Patricia Pilcher and her husband Frank; granddaughters Toni and Shelly, grandson Frank Jr. of Savannah; brothers, Tommy Tuten of Pooler and Donny Tuten of Bloomingdale; and five great grandchildren. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, He will be dearly missed. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for all the friends and family that visited or called and for the wonderful doctors and medical staff whom helped to care for him during his illness especially Hospice Savannah.
