Tammy was born on December 6, 1969, in Portland, the daughter of James “Hoss” Dale and Betty (Wright) Straley. She worked as a foreman for UTA in Berne and at the Bryant Truckstop.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Betty Straley, 3 brothers, John Lee Vance, Rex Allen Vance, Jesse James Vance and 1 sister, Louann Kay Vance.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Pennville Chapel of Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Pastor Randy Davis will officiate the service. Burial will follow at a later date in Antioch Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
