Sherry was born in the Naval Hospital, Portsmouth VA, the daughter of Charles W. Jones and Dollie Dean Jones. Sherry loved basketball and softball in high school and thoroughly enjoyed shopping, puzzle making, live and recorded music, as well as tending to her gardens. Her favorite Band was Aerosmith. She Loved the Blue Angels. However, fewer in this world made as much as an impact on her than her beautiful grandchildren.
Sherry also took the time to care for other children that had fallen on hard times, never turning away a child in need. Also, Sherry was a contributor to Wounded Warrior Project, and would always pay for the meals of those in uniform who she would meet in restaurants. She was a true supporter of our Armed Forces.
Sherry spent more than 30 years as a licensed insurance agent, working in Bainbridge, Camilla, Griffin, Stockbridge, and Fayetteville.
