Justin D. Sayre, 39, died in Honolulu HI, December 19, 2017. He was born to Lydia Ann Crawford and Joe Sayre May 31, 1978. His Dad was Walter Donley. He was a beloved Father, Husband, Son, Brother and friend.

He is survived by: his wife, Hiromi, and son, Liam, in Hawaii; sons, Riki and Tatsuki, in Japan; mother, Lydia Ann Crawford, of Sylvan Grove; father, Joe (Jerry) Sayre, of Arkansas City; and Dad, Walter Donley, of Lincoln. He is also survived by: sisters, Jo Ann (Rick) Hager, Lyons; Robbin (Gary) Kuehn, Lincoln; and brothers, Charles (Kim) White, of Sylvan Grove and Quinn Sayre and Darrick Sayre, of Arkansas City. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles who all were special to him. He has a special honorary Sister in cousin Micci Mason of Kansas and Honorary brother in friend Nick Schlapak, of Hawaii.

Justin started his career serving our country in the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS Belleau Wood as well as the USS Independence. Justin spent a majority of his military career in Japan.

After the Navy, Justin continued to serve the community by joining the Honolulu Police Department’s 161st Recruit Class in 2008. He spent his career patrolling the Kalihi area as well as in the Narcotics/Vice Unit. He was a proud member of the police force; those people were like a second family to him.

All who knew Justin will tell you that the main focus in his life was his three children, particularly his youngest son Liam, who his love for and bond with was exceptionally strong.
