Wayde Kenneth Sims entered eternal rest on September 28, 2018. He was a member of the LSU Men's Basketball team. He is survived by his parents Wayne and Fay Sims; grandparents Janice Stewart and Louis and Agnes Murry. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Healing Place Church beginning at 9 am until a celebration of Wayde's life at noon.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Wayde's name to your favorite charity or an organization for the prevention of gun violence. Graveside services are private.
Interment will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
