Luke Timothy Iraca, age 23, of Irvona, died on Friday, September 28, 2018, at his residence.

Luke was born on July 24, 1995, in Altoona, a son of Timothy D. and Diane M. (Weakland) Iraca who survives of Irvona.

He was a graduate of the Glendale Jr.-Sr. High School and attended Oaksterdam University in Oakland, Calif., where he received a degree in horticulture and was valedictorian of his class. Luke was employed by Nature's Medicines of State College, as a patient and inventory representative. Prior to that he worked for The Progress newspaper in Clearfield.

Luke enjoyed music, especially playing the guitar and drums. He liked to hunt rattlesnakes, but more than anything he was a loving son and brother.

In addition to his parents, Luke is survived by three brothers and two sisters, Amanda A. Iraca of Curwensville, Anthony G. Iraca, Nicholas J. Iraca, Alex M. Iraca and Marissa A. Iraca, all of Irvona.

He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Delcie E. Weakland of Coalport; two aunts and two uncles, Beverly Smith, Delcie McCartney and her husband Mark, Brian Weakland and Michael Weakland and his wife Laura. Numerous cousins also survive.

Luke was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George A. Weakland; his pararenal grandparents, Joseph and Goldie Iraca; and two uncles, Joseph Iraca and Lou Smith.
There will be no public visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
