Sheena Marie Altaha, age 35, of Whiteriver, AZ, peacefully entered eternal rest, surrounded by loved ones in Phoenix, AZ on Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was born in Phoenix, AZ on July 22, 1983 to her parents the late Wayland Altaha Sr. & Glenda Antonio. Sheena grew up in Whiteriver, AZ and attended the Whiteriver Elementary, Whiteriver Middle School and then graduated from Alchesay High School in 2001. She was employed by the White Mountain Apache Tribe as aTribal Operator, Tribal Election Poll Worker, Canyon Day Farm as a Agricultural Tech, she also was employed in other various jobs. She is survived by her only son, Trent Walden Altaha; 1/2 brother Wayland Altaha Jr. ; 1/2 sister Dorsita Montago. Sheena has aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and many friends. Sheena is preceded in death by her parents Glenda Antonio & Wayland Altaha Sr. Funeral service will be held in her honor starting on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Whiteriver Assembly of God Church in Whiteriver, AZ officiated by Rev. Kassie Bowman. The interment will take place at the family plot at the Canyon Day Cemetery in Canyon Day, AZ.
