75 year old, Connie L. Flick, of Monticello, formerly of DeMotte, passed away September 9, 2018. On August 6, 1943, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Connie was born to Melvin and Beatrice (Shockley) Flick. On March 6, 1962, he married the love of his life, Connie Kay Koster. Mr. Flick taught at Kankakee Valley High School for several years before settling into retail sales. He and his wife owned and operated Piddles, Fireworks Out of This World and The Country Store in Monticello for many years, as well as many other investments. Connie liked to fish and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Connie is survived by his wife, Connie Kay; daughter, Thoma (Mark) White; son, Greg (Faith) Flick; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 1 brother, Shockley (Bev) Flick; and 1 sister, Joy Ziegler.
Connie was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Elisha Flick; and brother, Lonnie Flick.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Faith Covenant Fellowship, Monticello, Indiana.
Services for Connie will take place at 7:30 p.m. (EST) at the Church on Thursday. Private graveside services will take place at the Bedford Cemetery.
