Mr. Futch, a native of Orlando, Fla. and a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Levy G. Futch of Cobbtown, Ga. and the former Minerva Broussard, of Maurice. Mr. Futch was employed with TV3 for 23 years. He was loved by friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Jamie D. Futch, of Lafayette; one daughter, Kerri N. Futch, of Arcata, Calif.; two sons, Corey J. Futch and wife, Maggie, of Lafayette, and Craig Anthony Futch, of Lafayette; three sisters, Gloria Domingue and husband, Kirby, of Lafayette, Jackie Manning and husband, Frank, of Lafayette, and Sharlene Dupre and husband, James, of Scott; four brothers, Edward G. Futch and wife, Shelia, of Hendersonville, Tenn., Robert E. Futch and wife, Cynthia, of Maurice, Gilbert R. Futch and wife, Lynn, of Sunset, and Kenneth W. Futch, of Carencro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Donald C. Futch and Greg K. Futch.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and will continue from 8 a.m. Friday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. this evening in the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Corey J. Futch, Craig Anthony Futch, Edward G. Futch, Robert E. Futch, Gilbert R. Futch and Kenneth W. Futch.
