Pam was born November 20, 1956, in Freeport, IL, to William L. and Blodwyn M. (Roberts) Hughes. She was educated in the Lena-Winslow schools in Lena, IL and graduated from the Lena-Winslow High School in 1974. She completed her beautician training at the Sterling Beauty School in Sterling, IL. She married Jeffrey A. Blomquist on September 25, 1976 in Lena, IL. Pam owned and operated the Shear Class Beauty Salon in Sterling, IL for 15 years. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff; two sons, Jay (Nancy) Blomquist of DesPlaines, IL and Chad Blomquist of Morrison, IL; two grandchildren, Olivia Pamela and Alexander Jeffrey Blomquist; two sisters, Diana Williams of Dallas, TX and Kris (Mrs. Lyle) Mokros of Platteville, WI; three brothers, Bob (Suzette) Hughes of Janesville, WI, Steve (Susan) Hughes of Nora, IL and Terry (Janelle) Hughes of Rock Falls, IL; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
