SULLIVAN Kirk Randy Dean Chandler, 24, died unexpectedly March 31, 2017. He was born Jan. 12, 1993, in Bar Harbor, the son of Mark and Leslie Dobbins Chandler.
Kirk is survived by his father, Mark Chandler and stepmother, Cathy, of Dedham; mother, Leslie Chandler and stepmother, Carlen Jay, of Sullivan; his beloved fiancé, Mandi Arey and his son, Atreyu Chandler; his brothers, Corey Chandler of Wilmington, NC, Kyle Chandler of Sullivan, Codey Chandler of Sullivan; stepsisters, Katrina Littlefield of Dedham and Rachel Gerald of Orrington; paternal grandmother, Donalene Chandler; maternal grandmother, Marlene Dobbins; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Burliegh Chandler; and maternal grandfather, Philip Dobbins Sr.
Kirk will always be remembered for his intenseness to live life to the fullest! AKA "Kirky - Turkey!" Since his childhood days Kirk loved making memories on Donnell Pond and Green Lake fishing, water skiing, camping. climbing trees and making his friends and family laugh! He was very athletic and loved gaming and horseshoes. He will be remembered dearly for his infectious laugh and smile! His son, Atreyu was very special to him and he was a wonderful father. He had so much love to give and he lived to make everyone smile.
A celebration of Kirk's life will be held at the Franklin Veterans Club on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 7 p,m. It will be a potluck dinner theme, so if you would like to bring a dish, please contact Kayla Johnson at 207-610-0603 to confirm.
