Sheldon Lynn Abel

Funeral services for Mr. Sheldon Lynn Abel, 30, were held at p.m. Tuesday, May 11, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest with Rev. Timmy Fanguy and Rev. Roger York officiating. Interment was made in Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Abel passed away on Saturday, May 8, 1999 at his home in Lawrence. A native of Sebastopol, he had lived in Lawrence for seven years.

Survivors include his wife, Machelle Abel of Lawrence; his mother, Jean Abel, Sebastopol; two sons, Tyler Abel, Casey Abel, both of Lawrence; one daughter, Samantha Abel, Lawrence, two brothers, Rickey Abel, Sebastopol, Keith Abel, Lufkin, Texas; three sisters, Betty Mowdy, Sebastopol, Kathy Robinson, Harperville and Darla Shoemaker, Hillsboro.

Pallbearers were Wayne Haralson, L. M. "Bubba" Bonds, Charles Gibbs, David Bradley, Curt Upton, and Danny Thrash.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Forest, was in charge of arrangements.
