Benjamin the first, son of Cornelius Corssen, was married to Nelly (last name not known) came to Bucks County in 1726. Family history indicatred that Benjamin the first was buried in the aisle of the Old Baptis Church near the Buck Tavern in Southampton. The old church torn down and a new chuch built adjoining the "Middle Road". It is positively known that Benjamin and Nelly had one son, Benjamin the second". in August, 1876, Dr. Thomas Corson of Trenton, NJ showed Dr. Hiram Corson a small Dutch Bible printed in 1734 that had written on the fly-leaf: "Benj'n Corson His Book. Born in ye yearof our Lord one thousand seven hundred eighteen."
It is possible/probable that Benjamin and Nelly had a second son, Capt Henry Corson of the Bucks County Associated Regulars (1747-48).
