Andy David Abbott, 54, of Mocksville, NC passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC.
Born July 4, 1964, in Austin, TX, son of Gary Wayne Abbott (Sharon) of Cross Hill, SC and the late Doris Marrtin Abbott.
After graduation from high school, he attended an auto technical school and followed the trade of rebuilding and restoring classic cars. He had a lifelong love of classic cars, model cars and collecting Hot Wheels. Employed with Keith's Restoration, Mocksville, NC, and he loved to restore and work on classic cars.
Those left to cherish his memory also include his wife, Sandy Shore Abbott; son, Drew Abbott (Ashley) of Cosby, TN; brother, Tommy Abbott (Joy) of Spartanburg; and stepson, Taylor Shore.
Memorial service was held Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 11:00 AM in The Chapel at Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, 4455 Anderson Mill Road, Moore, SC 29369.
Visitation followed immediately after the service.
