What a beautiful soul, lady, friend and cousin, and lovely person to just have an honest conversation with. Sadly Judy Hyde Weaving succumbed to her illness on this day. I met her on Ancestry, as we were both connected in our family line from many years back, and enjoyed talking, skyping and just going over our family history research many times to try and get it just right. Rest in peace "Lady Judy", love you forever. "Lady Nancy" xoxoxoxo
Obituary--February 6, 1950-December 7, 2016, with her family at her side, Wednesday, December 7, 2016, in Kanata, after a hard fought battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Christopher of 48 years, loving mother of Claude Weaving (Tracy Johnson), Elizabeth Tomlinson (James), and Anita Maniacco (Mike). Proud Nana of Christopher, Alexander, Sydney, Emma, David, Steven, Michaela, and Jacob. Dear sister of Wendy Weeks, the late Jody May (Nina), Deborah Techlowicz (Paul), Don Jensen (Evie), Shelly St. Jean (Rolly), Mark Jensen (Sonia), Christopher Szack, Peter Szack, Rosie May (Al), Peter May, Ron May (Lily), and Brenda May. Predeceased by her parents James May and Anita Szack (nee Grenier) and her adopted mother Verna May. Judy loved her family very much and spent many years researching her family history. She became close with many of her cousins around the world and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank her team of doctors in Kanata including Dr. Spacek, Community Palliative Medicine Associates, Dr. Pierre, Dr. Ong, Dr. Siddiqui, Dr. Zhao, Champlain CCAC and the wonderful nurses from Bayshore - Kathleen, Carla and Jeff. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, Kanata Chapel, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, ON K2M 1H4, 613-591-6580, Saturday, December 17, 2016 after 10 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and Victoria's Quilts Canada (provide handmade quilts to cancer patients) are appreciated. Condolences and Sharing Memories at www.kellyfh.ca.
