Patricia A. George, 75, of Buffalo Township, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Del. She was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Vandergrift to the late Benjamin and Helen (Pasterick) Fazekas and lived in Buffalo Township most of her life. Mrs. George graduated from Vandergrift High School and was a job counselor for the Pennsylvania State Unemployment Bureau for 15 years and a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot; the Slovak Club; the Verona Eagles, and the Punxsutawney Polka Club. She enjoyed cooking, her card club, polka dancing and spending time at the Delaware seashore. Surviving are daughter Diane M. George, of Chevy Chase, Md.; son William R. (Patricia) George, of Tarentum; grandchildren Christine and Michael George, of Tarentum, and sisters Teresa Rhoades, of Leechburg, and Joannie (William) Slanders, of Vandergrift. Also predeceased by her husband, Michael F. George, who died in 1976. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum. A blessing service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 10 in Sacred Heart-St. Peter Church, Tarentum, the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
