It is seldom that we are called upon to note the death of two persons in the same week. Last thursday night Miss Stella Bacon died of pneumonia and Sunday morning Eagle Bacon died of the same disease. They were buried in New Hope cemetery, after funerals had been conducted by Rev. A. Yancey.
Uncle Amon Bacon, father of these two, has been at deaths very door all the week, and Cullen Bacon and wife are just recovering from an attack of the disease. They certainly have the sympathy of all in their hour of grief and trouble.
