Wanetta Faye Kerley, 61, of Marengo passed away July 8, 2018 at her home. She was born March 7, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Julia E. Case and Robert (Wanda) Kerley. Wanetta enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and quilting. She was also active with her church and took part in Bible studies. Another passion of hers was Kerley’s Corner, a family genealogy endeavor. She would always look forward to her own birthday celebrations and the mostaccioli she always requested. She is survived by her mother, Julia E. Case; her siblings, Debra (Dennis) Goers, James (Lisa) Kerley, Virginia (Jim) Etherton, Rhonda Kerley; her aunt, June (Chuck) Walker; nieces and nephews, Melissa, Dwayne, Andy, Jeff, Airen, Andrew, James Jr., Jessica, Leeanna, Tony, and Billy; and her cousins, Denise, Amy and Amanda; and many great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Annetta; her brother, Kenneth; her father; and her Uncle Steve. There will be a visitation from 5 to 7pm on Friday, July 13 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo. There will be a memorial service at 7pm.
