FORT WORTH--Roger J Rankin of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, born on Nov. 20, 1951, in Fort Worth to Virginia Rankin and James Rankin, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friends and family are welcome to attend the graveside service from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 28, in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5726 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas, 76034. Roger graduated from Everman High School in 1970. He was a home remodeler and self-employed. He was the beloved husband of Norma Young. Roger enjoyed classic cars and antiquing. He was of the Baptist faith. Our memories of Roger will forever live in our hearts ... He was always kind and gentle to all and known as "the gentle giant." SURVIVORS: He is survived by his sister, Rhonda Rankin.
