Jessie Glenn Garris, 76, of Stantonsburg passed away Sunday.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Stantonsburg Town Cemetery, Stantonsburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Glenn worked with ST Wooten for fifty years. He enjoyed yard work and people, he was a friend to all that knew him. Glenn was a loving brother and he will be greatly missed.

Glenn is survived by his sister, Joyce Rowe and husband, Durward of Stantonsburg; his brothers, Bob Garris of Garner, Johnny Garris and wife, Linda of Wilson and Jimmy Garris and wife, Catherine of Rocky Mount; his sister-in-law, Leona Garris; several nieces and nephews, and his loving neighbors who was considered family, Jennifer Baker, Glenwood Baker, Jesse Baker and Amberly Baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Eva Garris; sisters, Catherine Carter and Eloise Taylor and his brothers, Floyd Garris, Jr. and Bill Garris.
