Lillian M. Bragdon, 85, of North County Road died Wednesday at her home. She was born in Sanford, Maine, a daughter of Albert and Marie Louise Bouffard, and attended Sanford schools. She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church in Sanford. On Oct. 17, 1940, she married Oakley Bragdon in Sanford. Mrs. Bragdon moved to Kennebunk, Maine, in the early 1950s and attended St. Monica's Church. In 1987, she moved here and attended St. Stephen's Church. Her husband died in 1971, and a son, Donald Bragdon, died in 1993.
Surviving are a son, Paul Bragdon of Kennebunk; two daughters, Jeanette Wiles of El Paso, Texas, and Helen Strange of Midland; a sister, Mary Hopwood of Rochester, N.H.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Monday in St. Martha's Church, Kennebunk.
Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk.
Arrangements are by Bibber Memorial Chapel, Kennebunk.
