Louella Ford, 77, of 240 County House Rd., Tompkinsville, died July 18, 2003 at the Monroe County Medical Center.
She was a caregiver and member of the Baptist Church.
Born in Monroe County on Jan. 1, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Nanny (Pedigo) Pedigo. She was first married to Leon Pennington, and following his death, married Lewis Ford, also now deceased.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Pennington, Atoka, Tenn., and Jerry Pennington, Tompkinsville; three daughters, Carolyn Humes, Ellen Courtier and Mildred Stewart; a step-son, Danny Ford; a step-daugher, Diane Jackson; anda brother, George Pedigo — all of Tompkinsville; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
A son, Jackie Pennington; five brothers, Ben, Edward, Jimmie, Albert and Robert Pedigo; and two sisters, Ednie Pedigo and Mary Carnahan, all preceded her in death.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on July 22 at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with Bro. Gary Emberton officiating. Burial was at the Turner Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Jamie Courtier, Brian Dugan, Joey Hagan, Jackie and Johnny Pedigo, and Jason Pennington. Honorary pallbearers were Matthew Hagan, Chris Pedigo, Randy Nason, Danny McCaleb and James and Darrell Humes.
