Maolmordha (Miles) Riley 1614 m. Nancy Hul

Maolmordha was the first immigrant in the family to come to St. George's Co., Maryland. He came with the Quakers around 1682 on a ship belonging to William Penn. It is not known if he was Quaker as they brought other people too. It is a fact that Maolmordha was about 29 years old and I have found nothting on any other children.
I am a direct decendent of the Yeakley family, Dittemore family and the Elsberry family (on another line).
Sarah Margaret (Brown) Riley married my 3rd Great Grandfather, William H.H. Yeakley and she raised her 2 sons by Brown and the 8 children of Henry's. Theodore Dittemore mentioned here was also a cousin of Henry Yeakleys. These families were very very close in where they lived and the families themselves. He would have been my 1st cousin 4 times removed. Ann Elsberry was my 4th Great Grandmother from the brother, Christopher and married Daniel (Cain Rev War)

There is also another story to be told. Isaac Berry's GGG Grandmother, Lydia Elsberry was married to Christopher Walbach. They were Quakers. We do not know just what Chriistopher did that would banish him from his religion but, Lydia and her three sons, Gotfried, Christopher & Benjamin all dropped their last names and took Lydia's maiden name to use from that point on. Lydia was born in 1695. Isaac come from one son and I another. My the line of Isaac Berry came into play when my 4th Great Grandfather Yeakley took Sarah Riley for his 2ed Wife and her sister Ormacinda Riley married my 1st cousin.
