Betty F. Adams (Brown), 77, of Canal Winchester, Ohio formerly of Rockport, West Virginia was called to her Heavenly home May 22, 2018, at Canal Winchester, Ohio after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born January 18, 1941, in Parkersburg, West Virginia the daughter of late Forrest and Claudine (States) Brown. Betty was a 1959 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She retired from the Community Action Organization of Ironton, Ohio. She was a Methodist growing up in the Limestone Church. She was a devoted wife, mother who loved her family and helping others.

On February 19, 1960, she was united in marriage to the late William Paul Adams of Parkersburg, West Virginia. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal Lynn and David Gwynn of Parkersburg, Denise Ann and Michael Rowley of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Tami Sue and Rob Richmond of Columbus, Ohio and one son and daughter-in-law, William Craig and Sheree Adams of Maumelle, Arkansas. She is survived by one brother, Charles and Brenda Brown of Grantsville, West Virginia. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Matthew Gwynn, Brandi (Josh) VanMatre, Jason Gwynn, Heather Rowley, Benjamin Rowley (Cori), Ashley (Justin) Leach, Jeremy Adams and Sean Adams, two step-granddaughters, Brianna and Sydney Whitley; eight great-grandchildren, great-grandson to arrive in September, nieces, nephew and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a very special mother and father-in-law, Delbert and Geneva Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Southside, Parkersburg, West Virginia with the Rev. Mike O'Brien officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen South Cemetery, Parkersburg. Friends may call from 11 am. to 1 pm. Saturday at the funeral home.
