DRINKARD - On May 19, 2003, William (Willie), 84, made his transition. Born in Blakely Ga., a resident of Newark for 80 years, father of Jimmy and Brenda, loving son of Nicholas and Delia, dear brother of Lee Warwick, Marie Epps, Dr. Emily (Cissy) Houston, Larry Drinkard, the late Anne Moss, Handsome and Nicholas Drinkard, brother-in-law of Ruth Drinkard and Joseph Epps. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 106 Sussex Ave., Newark. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation Thursday 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Arrangements by WHIGHAM FUNERAL HOME.
