Mr. Atkins had charge of numerous construction projects on the Pacific coast. For some time past they had been visiting in the east and later in Oakland, preparatory to taking up their temporary residence at Alturas, where Atkins is to superintend construction of a sawmill.
Mrs. Atkins is survived by her husband, her daughter, and her mother, Mrs. Mary E. Russell. She was a native of Ilinois.
Funeral services for Mrs. Atkins will be tomorrow at at the Albert Brown Co., Piedmont Ave. Oakland. Interment private.
