Chesapeake – John R. Mumpower, 68, of the 3000 block of Troy Lane departed this life on Sunday, March 25, 2007. He was born in Bristol, Virginia. He was a retired army veteran who served his country for 20 years. Mr. Mumpower was also an auto mechanic.
Mr. Mumpower leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 26 years, Rosario S. Mumpower; two children, Anne Marie and Ramona Sue; and two stepchildren, Gunther and Vera. Also left to cherish his memory are two brothers, Meron Lee and Allan Mumpower; 5 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Pearly Mumpower.
