Larry Gene Robinson, 69, of Lyman, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

Son of the late Robert Lee Robinson and Mary Pearson Dillard; husband of Peggy Burnett Robinson.

Veteran of the U.S Army, retired as a Master Sergeant and was a Purple Heart recipient, having served during the Vietnam War.

Survivors also include two daughters, Melissa Hughey (Chris_ of Inman and Shannon Robinson of Greer; two sons, Joshua Robinson of Lyman and Keith Gibson of Boiling Springs; a sister, Georgia Hicks of Greer; two grandchildren, Brooks and Parker Robinson; a beloved pet, Princess.

Predeceased by two brothers, Gary and David Robinson; two sisters, Jenny Robinson and Mary Mattison.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on May 3, 2018 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Neal officiating. Interment was held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service.
