Dock Edward Gibson, 85, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marie Gibson; daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria Jean and E. W. Evins, Lebanon, TN, and Tommy and Doris Gordon, Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Mary Lynn White, Kimberly Ann Brown, Chadwick Jackson Hayes, Ashley Barrington Hayes and Susan Marie Barnes; great-grandchildren, Mary Allison White, Anderson Gordon White, Matthew David White, Madison Nichole Brown, Cole Ashton Barnes and Logan Sanders Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dock Henry and Bessie Gibson; brothers, John and W. D. Gibson; and sisters, Tina Gibson, Ada Johnson, Ida Lee and Ann Keef.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. CDT Sunday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
