Annette Lauer, age 81, originally of Cadott WI, received compassionate and dignified care while residing at Azura Memory Care in Eau Claire, WI where she passed away on April 24, 2018.
Annette was born on September 16th, 1936 to Nora (Kane) and Felix Novak.
She married Wayne Lauer on July 27th, 1957. She and Wayne enjoyed 52 years of marriage.
Annette was a very successful salesperson. She excelled as a Mary Kay cosmetics consultant, achieving the highest honor of being awarded a Mary Kay Pink Cadillac. An avid Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan, she knew the stats of her favorite players. She was a talented artist leaving behind treasured paintings. Alzheimer’s never took her beautiful spirit and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survived by her sister Mary Lou Anderson, sisters-in-law Virginia Novak, Jean Novak, Leva Novak and Sandy Koss, many nieces and nephews and dear lifelong friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Wayne Lauer, parents Nora(Kane) and Felix Novak, brothers Bruce, Stanley, Robert, Steve and Jim Novak, father and mother-in-law Dave and Etta Lauer, brother-in-law Lyle Anderson, sisters-in-law Clara Novak, Doede Novak and Marlene (Lauer) Heppner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cadott WI. with Father William Felix officiating. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass at St. Rose Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to Funeral Mass Saturday morning at the church.
