Major Ned Adderton Sr., 84, of Moultrie, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his home.

Born February 2, 1934 in Miami, FL., he was the son of the late William Robert Adderton and Ella Mae Parker Adderton.

Mr. Adderton was a United States Navy Veteran and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Adderton was self-employed with real estate mobile.

His family remembers how he was an awesome father, loved his family very much and had a heart for others.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob Adderton and Lee Adderton.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jean “Susie” Mercer Adderton of Moultrie; children, Vickie Owens, Major Ned Adderton Jr., Roy William Davis and Casey Hiers all of Moultrie, Melissa Collins and Andy of Hartsfield, Major Ned Adderton III and Cindy, Michael Adderton and Brandi all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Amanda Hamilton, Wayne Owens Jr., Mitchell Adderton, Olivia Davis, Noah Davis, Desiree Terrell, Benjamin Collins, Devin Adderton and Amber, Conner Adderton, Isaac Adderton, Tanner Hamilton, Alan Griffin, Evan Hiers, Anna Hiers,; great-grandchildren, Alora Grace Suber, J.D. Owens and Chris Owens; brother, Manning Ted Adderton and Olga of Cartersville.
