Mrs. Ethel C. Spangler, age 80, died May 23, 1991. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ruth Haymaker, Virginia Beach, Va.; six sons, Paul Daniel Spangler Sr, Boones Mill; Bernard Matthew Spangler and Howard Kenneth Spangler Sr, Roanoke; John Winfield Spangler and Jonathan Wainwright Spangler, both of Shawsville; David Andrew Spangler, Christiansburg; six sisters, Clara Pruitt, Salem; Ardella Green, Callaway; Stella Freeman, Roanoke; Trixie Poff, Bent Mountain; Gertrude Spencer, Big Ben, N. C.; Augusta Craighead Pacitti, Copper Hill; two brothers, Dennis Craighead and David Craighead, Roanoke; also grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home. Interment in the William Winfield Spangler Cemetery. Arrangements by Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home, Elliston
