Edna Dillard Acree, 84, Cadiz, died at 6pm Wednesday at Trigg County Hospital following a short bout with cancer.

Services will be at 11am Monday at Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. E.A. Brown officiating and burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30pm Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home, Cadiz.

A native of Trigg County, Acree was born June 27, 1919, daughter of the late Bob and Hattie Redd Dillard. She was a homemaker, a member of Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Roscoe Acree. A son, James Wilson, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
