It is with great sadness to announce that Jacqulene "Jackie" (Taylor) Anderson, 80, died Sunday March 25, 2018 surrounded by family at Sothern Ohio Medical Center Hospice following a brief illness.

Jackie, the daughter of Homer and Marjorie (Timberlake) Taylor was born and raised in South Shore, KY. As told by her husband Wayne "she was the prettiest gal around so I had to marry her!" Jackie and Wayne married on May 7, 1955 at The Church of Christ in South Shore, KY on "VE Day plus 10!" (Victory in Europe Day). Jackie always said she knew their wedding date was a special day. They later had two children Edmund (Ed) or "Eddie" as she called him and Paula "Dian" (Ronan). The family moved from Steubenville, OH to Arizona in 1958 where they raised Ed and Dian. They lived in several Arizona towns and watched the state grow year by year. She and Wayne later on had their log home built by their son, Ed in Tonto Basin, AZ where they lived until 2016. Jackie was a proud Kentucky Colonel and always said she was a Kentucky girl by heart.

Jackie was a business woman in her younger years working as an Administrative Secretary at Motorola, then progressing to her private book keeping service, she did lab work in the archeology department at Arizona State University, and later on starting Jacqueline's Boat and RV Storage with her husband, Wayne in Tonto Basin. In retirement she enjoyed traveling with Wayne to see family across the country.

Jackie in her last few years moved to Lucasville, OH along with Wayne to live close to son Ed and family. She has been able to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as send handmade items to her great-grandchildren in California. She took pride in hand making blankets and throws for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie spent her days in Ohio surrounded by family sharing laughter and joy to all with her ever witty sense of humor. She had been able to visit with her sister Polly – to which the laughter and "cackling" could be heard for miles, celebrated her 80th birthday, celebrated the births of 6 great grandchildren (with two more on the way!) and even have the honor of having a great granddaughter named after her – Taylor Ronan.

Jackie lives on through her husband and best friend of 63 years, Clarence "Wayne" Anderson; her son, Edmund "Ed" Anderson (Mary); her son-in-law Terry Ronan; grandsons: Andy Ronan (Olivia), Zac Ronan (Kim), Brandon Schmidt (Alisha), Brad Schmidt (Meghan); granddaughter Christy Smith (Thomas); sister Pauline "Polly" (Taylor) Austin (Robert "Bob"); 6 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; and many close friends across the country.

Jackie had made the specific request that there not be a funeral service. With respect to her wishes, family and close friends will hold a private dinner in remembrance of Jackie and her life well lived.
