She had been employed by Ira Lou Spring Post American Legion as a kitchen worker. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Abbott, Sr., whom she married Jan. 31, 1959, and who died May 19, 2010.
