Bernard Lee Marshall, Sr., 73, of Zanesville died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2004 at Ohio State University Hospital. He was born March 12, 1931, in Zanesville, a son of the late Carl R. & Catherine Hientz Marshall. He was the owner & operator of Marshall's Cleaning Service. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy J. Hale Marshall, whom he married October 26, 1953, of the home, two daughters, Cathy R.(Denny)Simpson and Pamela S. Hiles both of Zanesville, three sons, Larry E.(Darlene)Marshall of Zanesville, Bernard Lee(Maggie)Marshall of Chicago, IL, and Jeffrey A. Marshall of Zanesville, a sister, Dorothy(Clyde)Dunne of Zanesville, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianna Marshall in 1963, a sister, Clara Engles, two brothers, Richard & Clarence Marshall.
