Funeral services for Laura Choisser Wilson, 85, St. Louis, Mo. formerly of Pinckneyville, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pyatt Funeral Home with Rev. James O. Mathenia officiating. Interment will be in IOOF Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson died Monday, October 29, in Grand Manor Nursing Home in St. Louis.
Visitations is at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
Born in Pinckneyville December 29, 1898, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie (Swice) Houghland. Her first husband, Lee C. Choisser preceded her in death on May 30, 1955. She later married Clarence W. Wilson who died on December 5, 1966. She was a member of the Beaucoup Baptist Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Viola J. Stefter of St. Louis, Mrs. Bonnie L. Webb of Topango, Ca., Mrs. June Richardson of Castro Valley, Ca. Mrs. Dorothy A. Brendia of St. Louis and Mrs. Ginger Killer of Van Nuys, Ca. 12 grand children and 14 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husbands, one daughter, three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
