Gerald A. Watts, Sr., 67, of Zanesville died at 1:07 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born October 31, 1937 in Zanesville , a son of the late Everett J. And Florence L. Harris Watts. Gerald had worked in various capacities in his life as a plumber, electrician and as a welder. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Korea, member and past president of the Limestone Valley Lions Club, had sang with the Pleasant Valley Boys for eight years, enjoyed bowling and golfing. Surviving are his loving wife, Sara J. "Sally" Clark Watts, whom he married March 12, 1960, four daughters, Katherine(David)Miller of Fredericktown, Rebecca J.(Michael)Short of Round Mountain, TX, Michelle E.(William)Landkrohn of Zanesville and Nicole Y.(James)Stillion of Nashport, a son, Gerald A. Watts Jr. Of Zanesville, nine grandchildren, Bryan & Brooke Miller, Brittany(Jeff)Richards, Robert Reed, Heather & Allyson Landkrohn, Skyler, Paige and Jordan Stillion, four sisters, Patricia Watts of Zanesville, C. Kay Watts of South Zanesville, Rita(Nick)Sciochetti of Pompano, FL, and Sheila(Lloyd)Suttles of Zanesville, seven brothers, Gene(Chris)Watts of South Zanesville, Duane(Kay)Watts of Crooksville, David(Sandra)Watts of South Zanesville, Larry Watts of Pompano, FL, Lyle(Connie)Watts of Zanesville, James(Cindy)Watts of Van Wert and Keith(Vicki)Watts of Zanesville, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Watts. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the cemetery.
