A funeral service for Mrs. Brower will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 8 at the Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 N. Main St., Mt. Pleasant. Chaplain Jim Luder will officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. Brower, the former Martha Louise Schadt, was born January 20, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant. She was the daughter of James Kenneth and Bertha P. (Plummer) Schadt. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant Community High School in 1971. On August 18, 1993 in Mt. Pleasant, Martha was united in marriage to David Lamont Brower.
For over 30 years, Martha was employed in the production department of the Motorola (later Celestica) Corporation in Mt. Pleasant. With her husband, she was a member of the Gold Wing Touring Association. Martha and David spent many happy days touring with the group to a variety of Gold Wing Rallies across the nation. Martha enjoyed very much doting on her 2 miniature dachshunds, Wally & Gus.
Those thankful for sharing in Martha’s life include her husband, David of Mt. Pleasant; a son and his wife; her mother, Bertha Schadt of Mt. Pleasant; a brother and his wife; a sister and her husband, Linda & Greg; and several nieces and nephews.
Martha’s father, Jim, precedes her in death.
