Richard Bruce Holtz, resident of San Pierre, IN, formerly of Crown Point, IN, passed away on February 23, 2018 at the home of his son Michael Holtz in Mishawaka, IN at the age of 82 years.
He was born in Homewood IL October 23, 1935, and raised in Cedar Lake IN. He worked many jobs throughout his life, but his most fulfilling was that of Pastor at St. Luke United Church in San Pierre, IN.
He will be sadly missed by his three surviving children Michael Holtz, Gregory Holtz (Carla Holtz), and Kim Porter (Richard Porter), and his three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Alida (née Sjoerdinga) Holtz, and his siblings Lois, Allan, Janet, and Nancy.
