KENNETH L. SOTZING, age 63, of Conover, OH, died Sunday, February 4, 2007, at 2:51 P. M. at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney. He was born February 15, 1943 in Troy, OH to the late Harold and Dorthabel (Schilling) Sotzing.

Kenneth is survived by one son & daughter-in-law: Matt & Beth Sotzing, Fletcher, OH; one daughter & son-in-law: Nickole & Rob Burch, Conover, OH; one brother: Dale Sotzing, Casstown, OH; and four grandchildren: Kasie Karnehm, Conover, OH, Jacob Sotzing, Troy, OH, Mackinzie Sotzing, Fletcher, Oh and Hayden Sotzing, Fletcher, OH. He was preceded in death by one son: Craig Sotzing and one grandson: Cameron Karnehm.

Kenneth worked for Star Excavating in Covington for 3 years and Miller Brothers Excavating for 8 years. He served in the US Army and the Air Force National Guard.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 1:30 P. M. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua with Rev. Bonita Wood officiating. Full military honors will be provided by The Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 – 8 P. M. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, 646 West High Street, Piqua, OH 45356 to help defray the cost of the funeral.
