Mrs. Ruthie Stowe Adams, 89, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain.
A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Rufus and Delia Hemphill Stowe. She joined Galilee United Methodist Church at an early age and was a faithful member for more than 56 years.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Bradie Lee Adams preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Sarah Lee Adams of Kings Mountain and Evelyn Adams McDowell of Silver Spring, Md.; son, Brady Adams of California; sisters, Margaret Morris and Lithie Williams of New Haven, Conn.; and a brother, Rufus Stowe, of Kings Mountain.
